Trevor Oil Painting |
Originals
Being horse crazy at a young age, Corrina started drawing them at age 5, and continue throughout school. She received a scholarship to study with a wildlife artist after high school which taught her realistic oil painting.
After taking time away from art to get her business degree, she resumed study of oil painting by taking many workshops across the country with wildlife and landscape artists, and attending courses at the Scottsdale Art School. She spent time painting landscapes plein air before returning to painting animals. She takes her own reference photos to work from, and loves capturing the personality of each animal.
Originally from Washington state, she was very active in the art groups there, studying pastel and watercolor before settling on oil. She then spent her time between Arizona and Jackson, Wyoming to do art shows before finding galleries to represent her. She has enjoyed painting the animals and landscapes in each place. She still loves horses, and owns an Appaloosa mare.
