For over 35 years in Jackson, Wyoming, Kathy Wipfler's work has focused on the American West. Her paintings have been included in many regional shows, including the Coors Art Show, Western Rendezvous Show, Buffalo Bill Art Show, The Russell, and Western Visions. Her drawing titled "Bruin Trio" was awarded the Bob Kuhn Award at the 2015 Western Visions Show, & her work is included in a 2015 Gibbs Smith publication titled "Painters of Grand Teton National Park."

Her work is also included in the permanent collection at the Whitney Gallery of Western Art in Cody, Wyoming.
